October’s Very Own (OVO) is a Toronto-based lifestyle brand established in 2012 currently by rapper, Drake, producer, Noah “40” Shebib, and Oliver El-Khatib. The brand was up and running within several years, and found a niche specializing in street clothes with an affluence touch. OVO means Drake’s side, as well as the city of Toronto. The small owl has become the trend of the company and it is seen printed on jerseys, caps and many other items. Nike and other big brands such as copyright are OVO’s most famous partners. It also produces an annual October’s Very Own Fest, which links fashion to music as well as entertainment.
